PIERRE, S.D. (KELO-AM) -- The South Dakota Board of Regents will create a subcommittee to focus on athletic issues.
Regents President Bob Sutton says it is partly because of the move to division one athletics.
Sutton says the changes needed to retain and attract division one coaches is cause for more attention.
He says athletics at other state universities could benefit from the subcommittee.
The Regents may appoint members to the subcommittee at their next meeting in August.
