UNDATED (KELO AM) - The votes on healthcare reform in the Senate will take place next week, at the earliest. They were delayed after it became obvious that the bill didn’t have enough support.
South Dakota Senator John Thune says Senators have different issues to work through. Some states have expanded Medicaid, some have not. Then there are refundable tax credits for medical insurance.
Thune says there will be a lot of discussions going on all week to find a workable bill.
Senators are now saying they want the Congressional Budget Office to revise the estimates of any compromise bill.
