Tea, S.D. (KELO AM) - One of the fastest growing school districts in the state is adding another elementary school.
Tuesday's vote saw 70 percent say "Yes" to allowing the school district to bond $15.4 Million to build the school. This will be the 3rd elementary in the Tea district.
The new building will reportedly go up on the south side of Tea, near the community sports complex. It's expected to open for students in 2019.
Enrollment in the Tea School District has nearly tripled since 2003.
