SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - ATF Agents found a Federal parole violator near East 41st Street and South Minnesota Avenue just before noon Thursday and called for assistance from the Sioux Falls Police Department.
The suspect fled and there was a short chase before he crashed his car near South 4th Avenue and East 41st Street. He ran into the nearby neighborhood.
As officers and agents searched for the suspect, they cautioned residents to remain indoors and lock their houses. Around noon, the suspect was found hiding in an unlocked garage near South 7th Avenue and East 38th Street.
The suspect, Joseph Kenneth Henry, a 30-year-old Sioux Falls resident, was arrested for 2nd Degree Burglary, Hit and Run, and Aggravated Eluding.
