Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - A multi-family dwelling suffered fire damage early Wednesday evening.
Crews were called to 913 S 1st Ave at around 6pm for a report of fire coming from the first floor of the building. Smoke could be seen coming from second floor windows and roof of the building as well.
Flames were knocked down within 30 minutes and no one was injured in the incident. Three residents and one cat had to be rescued from the building.
Five Fire Rescue units, Xcel Energy, MidAmerican Energy, Sioux Falls Police, and the Red Cross all assisted in the call.
