SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) – A public meeting will be held on the issue of Meandered and Non-Meandered waters. The meeting will be Tuesday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hub building, 2001 N Career Ave located on the SE Tech campus. It will be hosted by the 29-90 Sportsman’s Club and the South Dakota Wildlife Federation (SDWF).
There will be a Power Point presentation covering the history of the waters, The Public Trust Doctrine and our 12 words to fix water law in SD. We will also hear about the “Economic Impacts” of the recent Supreme Court Decision Duerrer V. Hepler that Northeast SD and sportsmen/women of SD are currently experiencing.
The presentation is open to the public.
