The South Dakota Department of Tourism got a nice boost to the summer travel season by being featured in the “Michelin Green Guide,” an international travel publication.
Department Secretary Jim Hagen says attractions in the state led to the feature.
Hagen says it is an important boost to state tourism.
He adds they are moving quickly to take advantage of the international publicity.
Mt. Rushmore is also featured on the U.S. version of the Michelin guide.
