SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) The City of Sioux Falls has developed an online visual survey for serious input from citizens on streets.
What kind of street do they like when driving a car or pedaling a bycycle? What kind of street do they like in front of their house?
City Planner Sam Trebilock says that the survey has 19 visual questions with various pictures of streets from which to choose. It takes about ten minutes to complete at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TFSVQY2
Trebilcock says the survey also digs deeper with what should be the priorities for streets. For example, is the priority snow removal, or perhaps it's pedestrian connections, or parking, or other things.
The input will help the growing city develop the new subdivision ordinance. The online survey will be available until June 5.
