SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO-AM)- The South Dakota Healthcare Coalition has rescinded a job offer to former Sioux Falls Fire Chief Jim Sideras.
In April, Sideras had accepted the Executive Director position of the coalition, and announced he was retiring from Sioux Falls Fire Rescue after thirty four years with the department. The coalition took back the offer on May 9.
Sideras is facing multiple counts of child pornography.
Mayor Mike Heuther announced Friday that he has chosen Division Cheif Brad Goodroad as the next Fire Chief, pending approval of the City Council.
