Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Animal Control is asking for the public's help to locate two dogs that were involved in biting incidents on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The first involves a teenage boy who was bitten by a tan pug type dog with a black nose. The pug was being walked on a leash by two men and a woman but the dog was able to break free from them and bit the boy on his thigh. The boy did speak with the owners briefly but he did not get their contact information.
The second incident involves a fight between two dogs early Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of North Summit Avenue. A resident in this area found a white German Shepherd type dog in her yard fighting with her two dogs. Each of her dogs received bite wounds from the altercation. The resident has seen this dog in the neighborhood before but she does not know where it lives.
Animal Control needs to identify both of the dogs involved to verify its vaccinations. If you have any information on either case, please call Animal Control at 367-7000.
