SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - REACH Literacy's annual warehouse book sale is tomorrow and Saturday at the Book Store on East 8th Street.
REACH Executive Director Paige Carda says they have over 10,000 books and they'll selling a box load for ten dollars. She says they have fiction, nonfiction and kid's book. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Carda says all the funds produced from REACH a Reader Book Store are funneled back to support their mission of teaching adults how to read and write. She says REACH does not charge for those services so all the money from this weekend's book sale help support the mission
Carda says if you have too many books, they'll accept your gently used books too. They can be dropped off at any Sioux Falls Library or at the REACH Book Store.
Donated books are used in tutoring sessions, given to local classrooms or sold through the Book Store to help fund programs.
