SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO-AM) -- Another day, another scandal in South Dakota state government.
But state Sen. Stace Nelson (R-Fulton) says not so fast. The maverick Republican says there are at least three reasons why South Dakotans should be paying attention to the scandal, the criminal trial, the civil trial, and the legislature's so far non-investigation into the matter.
Nelson, a former Marine and NCIS investigator, is undaunted and says citizens should keep the heat on the state's leaders to get to the bottom of the scandal, which may have cost taxpayers at least $11 million.
Nelson spoke with KELO Radio's Todd Epp following Nelson's appearance Friday on The Greg Belfrage Show.
