MITCHELL, S.D. (KELO AM) The alleged mouse in the coke can case in Mitchell is getting down to details.

The Daily Republic reports that a lawyer for Coca-Cola contends that the mouse in question was not decomposed enough to have been in the coke for the six weeks between the time it was bottled to when a Davison County man claims he found it in the drink.

A veterinary pathologist may be called in to analyze the mouse's remains.

Duane Putzier claims finding the mouse in his drink last year made him sick, caused him to miss work, and cost him a $1,000 in medical bills. He's seeking damages.

The Daily Republic reports that Coke's attorney claims Putzier's suit is really an attack on the popular soft drink's brand.

There were motions hearings in the case this week at Davison County Court.
