SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Authorities say one person was transported to a hospital and another was arrested after a fire on the 300 block of North Spring Avenue in north Sioux Falls Sunday afternoon shortly after 12:30.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue tweeted that the fire was knocked down quickly. Two people were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation, and one person was transported to Avera McKennan Hospital for smoke inhalation and burns.
Sioux Falls Police say that one person is in custody for allegedly obstructing police and fire rescue, saying the person was apparently trying to "save their beer". Stay current with up to date information on kelo.com.
