Undated (KELO AM) - There is a slight chance for some severe weather in parts of the area, according to the National Weather Service.
If severe weather does develop, it is expected to be mainly east of the immediate Sioux Falls area, in southwest Minnesota and Northwest Iowa. Quarter size hail and winds to 60 - 70 miles an hour are possible late Sunday morning into Sunday evening. Be prepared for changing weather conditions throughout the day.
The National Weather Service says some heavy rain is also possible to the north of Sioux Falls, with an inch or more possible.
