SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) Allegiant Air invites everyone to an amazing coffee klatch Thursday morning, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon, at Coffea Roasterie on Phillips Avenue in downtown Sioux Falls.
Allegiant's Kim Shaefer says it will be free coffee for all, but don't throw away your cup. Make sure you check the bottom for a big surprise.
"There's going to be a special mark on the bottom of five coffee cups. They'll be a little sticker with an airplane and the airport code for each of the five cities," Shaefer says the special cups mean free vacation packages to one of each of the five Sunbelt destinations Allegiant serves out of Sioux Falls Regional Airport. The packages include airfare, hotel, and more for four.
Allegiant serves Orlando, Tampa Bay, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix.
Shaefer says it's the company's way of celebrating 13 years of serving the Sioux Falls community.
"In the last 13 years, we have flown 1.7 million passengers out of the Sioux Falls airport," says Shaefer.
Alliegiant will also be making a donation to the eastern South Dakota chapter of the Red Cross.
