SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police say a bomb threat at Lowell Elementary yesterday was part of a robo call targeting schools in 18 states.
Lieutenant Jon Lohr says the bad guys target schools, venues or sporting events and dial in an "X" amount of numbers and make the calls.
Lohr says the school resource officer and the staff searched the building for anything suspicious but came up empty.
The call came into the school just before noon yesterday and the building was not evacuated.
