SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - There were no injuries in a house fire in the 1800 block of South Grange Avenue early this morning.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue investigators determined the cause of the fire was soldering on plumbing in the basement.
Fire Rescue says smoke was pouring out of the attic in the unoccupied home when they arrived around 3:30.
Fire was found in the bathroom on the main level and in the basement. Crews had the fire contained in about 15 minutes. They say the house sustained moderate fire and smoke damage.
Crews stayed at the scene for another two hours to complete overhaul and ventilation operations and to make sure all hot spots were extinguished
