Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Several highways around Sioux Falls are marked as no travel advised as a winter storm bears down on the region.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation says highways along a line west of Parker and south of Worthing are the worst areas as of Thursday night.
This also includes Highway 81 south of Bridgewater and Highway 11 south of Canton.
Visibility of less than a quarter mile and drifting snow are the main culprits at this time. Icy patches are also reported in areas.
