SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police say they'll start towing vehicles plowed in, or still parked on unplowed streets, as early as Thursday afternoon.
Police have not yet tabulated how many snow alert tickets have been issued so far in this snow storm.
Meanwhile...Sergeant Shaun Olson says there were 85 accidents between Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, including eleven that were hit and runs.
Olson says the bulk of the calls came in Tuesday because the snow started just before the evening commute got underway.
Sidewalks must be cleared within 48 hours after the snow ends.
A snow alert continues in Sioux Falls with crews getting into the north-south streets in Zone 2 this morning. Downtown pickup operations will start early Friday morning. Don't park on city streets until they've been plowed curb to curb.
