SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - In the last two Big Sioux River Greenway Cleanups, volunteers carted away eight-thousand pounds of garbage and recyclables.
Environmental Analyst Matthew Gedney says crews will gather again Saturday to remove trash from the Big Sioux River. The cleanup is next Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Gedney says gloves, maps and trash bags will be provided. No preregistration is required and all aged are welcome to pitch in.
