Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) — Spectra Food Services, the food and beverage provider for Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, Convention Center, Arena, and Orpheum Theater Center, will unveil a new, tasty treat for PREMIER Center ticket holders at this weekend’s Monster Jam event, Jan. 20-21.
The Churro Dog will be available at a food cart on the main concourse. The dessert item adds to Spectra’s other sweet offerings.
“My favorite thing about this new item is the multiple contrasts you get when you take a bite,” says Spectra General Manager Chad Stoner. “We really brainstormed to come up with a new niche item that Sioux Falls has never seen before. The Churro Dog combines sweet and salty, warm and cold, creamy and crunchy all in one bite.
The Churro Dog is made up of your choice of a cinnamon and sugar churro or a chocolate Oreo churro, placed inside a long john donut that’s filled with Bavarian cream. Whipped topping and sugar and spice bacon crumbles top the Churro Dog to complete the delicious creation. If bacon is not an option for you, the Churro Dog can be topped with sprinkles.
