SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police arrested three people sitting in a stolen car parked at 18th and South Third Avenue early this morning and a passenger faces felony drug charges.
Officer Sam Clemens says 23-year-old Mitchell James Houchins, a transient, took off running but was quickly caught.
Clemens says police allegedly found 15 pills of Clonazepam in Houchins' pocket and a small amount of methamphetamine in a backpack he was carrying. Clemens says Clonazepam is a schedule drug
Clemens says Houchins and Robert Lee Baldwin and Gabrielle Lynn-Haugen, both 18 and from Sioux Falls are charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
Clemen says the owner of the stolen vehicle left it running and unlocked last weekend.
