SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) Next weeks weather is going to be a huge change. Kerry Hanko of the Weather Service in Sioux Falls said, "We will be seeing a plunge of Arctic cold air coming from Canada with connections all the way to the North Pole. With normal high temperatures this time of year being around 30 degrees, we will be seeing temperatures 20 degrees cooler than normal. We are expecting wind chills to be from 10 to 25 degrees below zero."
Hanko warns everyone if you must be outside to wear layers of clothing and keep all skin from being exposed. She stated: "With the temperatures that we expect, you can begin to see frost bite on exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes."
